In May, 2010, Tammy suggested we enter the Big Country Home Page mother/daughter look a like contest. We had been told all our lives that we looked so much alike, so I said sure.
Then, we realized we did not have any pictures of just me and her without lots of other people in them, so at dad's 81st birthday party, we had Cory take some pictures of just Tammy and I and we submitted the picture for entry.
After the first week of voting, Tammy and I won the first round, placing 1st out of 104 entries!! There were 2 more weeks of voting after the finalist were chosen from the first round. After the 2 weeks, we ended up getting 4th place overall. Not bad, 4th out of 104!!
I am proud that people think we look alike, because I think she is a very beautiful woman, both inside and out, and to be compared to her is totally awesome!
