Braxdyns first Haircut and BBQ!

Braxdyn got his first haircut and BBQ ribs on the weekend of March 19, 2011. He LOVES real food!!

Braxdyn visits MiMi

Tammy had to work in Coleman on Thursday, March 17, so Nivla kept Brax that morning when she got to work and I got him at lunch for the rest of the day. We had lunch at Papaws and then we visited Danita and Johnna and April, then went home and played. Here are some pics of us just hanging out.

JAZZ DAY

On March 12, 2011, we took Jazz for a "JAZZ DAY". We told him it was his day to do ANYTHING he wanted and he got to choose everything we did that day. First pick was McDonalds for lunch, where he ate, played in the play area, had ice cream and then decided it was time to go play Putt Putt. After a couple of hours of Putt Putt, he was ready to go to Mr. Gattis. At Gattis, he rode the bumper cars, roller coaster and bowled, as well as played all the arcade games. We were there over an hour and then he wanted to go to Chuck E. Cheese. At Chucky's he played the arcade games and won a bunch of tickets that he traded in for a few items and got him a really cool crazy straw cup. We asked where he wanted to go for supper and he said Chili's, but Tammy called and invited us to her house for Fajitas and I asked what he would rather do and he said go to Tammy's so we ended our day with supper at Tammy and Cory's with Janet, Garret, Justin Leanne and of course, Braxdyn. It was a great day.

BRAXDYN WALKING

Braxdyn was 9 months old on March 2, 2011. I week later he took his first 4 steps. He is such a big boy and growing soo fast.

JAZZ BOO BOO

Well, Jazz had his first trip to the ER couple of weeks ago. On Saturday, March 12, 2011, he was at his dads and Tracy's house in Ft. Worth and had a bike wreck. Jason was at work and he was outside with Tracy and wrecked his bike and put a big gash on his head. Here is Jazz's story about how it happened:

"Well, MiMi, there was this porch........ and it was taller than my bike..... And I jumped and got my front wheel on this little thing (cinder block) and was trying to get my back wheel up there and BAM I crashed and busted my head. I shoulda had a ramp!"

I told him, "Well, Jazz, if you would not try to pop those wheelies, that would not have happened"

Jazz replied, "MiMi, I would have been a lot better off if I had been popping a wheelie!"

Anyway, the cut required 2 stitches inside and 6 outside and it was right above his left eyebrown. The doctor did a great job of stitching it and the scar should fade a lot.

Tracy said he cried just when it first happened and after she got him calmed down, when they got to the ER he never cried or even whimpered when they deadened it or stitched it up. Such a big boy!!
