Braxdyn's Birth

Our newest little bundle of joy came just last week, after a loonnnggg 5 year wait!

Braxdyn Luke Withers was born on June 8, 2010 at 12:24 A.M. He weighed 8#15oz. and was 22 inches long. He was almost one week overdue. He was born in Galveston, Texas. His mommy and daddy, Tammy & Cory, were so excited to finally see him. They had been trying for a very long time to have their own sweet little one, but God decided that he had another small one waiting for them and sent them a different birth mommy to carry their little bundle for them.

Her name was Aubree and we all became very attached to her. She is Braxdyn's birth mom. She is so sweet and kind. Words cannot express the love we feel for her, for giving us this precious gift, our little boy. I pray that God will bless her and watch over her always, because she will always hold a very special place in our hearts.

Tammy and Cory had to stay in Galveston almost 2 weeks waiting for him to be born. Then, he decided to be late (runs in the family, I suppose). He was born about 6 days late and then took 2 days to get here, but he is very healthy and is a happy little boy.

Tammy said they sat in the motel after they brought him from the hospital and realized that they had done nothing for the last 3 hours but sit there and watch him. They are just so amazed by him, as we all are.

There is nothing in this world more precious than our little ones! Lord, Thank you again for sending me 2 of the most awesome daughters in the world and 2 of the most precious grandsons, to fill my life with such joy!
